Summary
The Southwest Finland Foresight Academy has received international recognition after its regional skills anticipation model was assessed as a European Good Practice by Interreg Europe. The evaluation highlights the Academy’s ability to turn foresight information into practical actions that strengthen the link between education and labour market needs while supporting lifelong learning.
The Academy produces practical reports and skills profiles used to develop curricula, apprenticeships and workforce development. Through the QUEEN project, the model and its methods are now being shared with European partner regions, promoting stronger cooperation between education, working life and regional development.
